Test size: A perfect fit to the helmet is safe

The appropriate size is the foundation for a helmet to provide optimal protection. Only by perfectly fitting the head can it provide safety protection in critical moments.

Firstly, it is necessary to accurately measure the head circumference. Use a soft tape to measure around the widest part of the head (usually a circle above the eyebrows and ears). During the measurement, the soft tape should be kept horizontal and in close contact with the head, but not too tight. Generally speaking, the head circumference of adults is between 54-62 centimeters, and different brands and models of helmets will have corresponding size charts. Choose the appropriate size based on the measured head circumference and compare it with the size chart.

There are also rules for trying on helmets. Wear the helmet horizontally on the head, ensuring that the edge of the helmet is about 1 centimeter above the eyebrows, neither leaning forward nor backward. Forward tilt can cause the helmet to fail to effectively protect the forehead, while backward tilt can block the line of sight and fail to protect the safety of the rear position of the head. Adjust the straps of the helmet, open the straps, slowly tighten them until comfortable. The straps should be located under the ears and tightly attached to the bottom of the chin, leaving a one finger gap. At this point, gently shake the head back, forth, left, and right to check if the helmet is stable. Under normal circumstances, the helmet should not have any significant shaking or displacement. If the helmet shakes, slips, or causes pressure on the head during the trial wearing process, it indicates that the size is not suitable and needs to be re selected.
