Those stubborn reasons for not wearing helmets 1
In real life, I find that there are always some friends around me who are very "stubborn" about wearing helmets while cycling, and even give various seemingly "reasonable and well founded" reasons.

Some people think that wearing a helmet is too troublesome. They have to put it on before riding and take it off to find a place to put it after parking. If the motorcycle does not have a trunk, they are worried about getting their helmet stolen while holding it in their hand or placing it in the car, which is very inconvenient. Compared to life safety, what is this trouble worth? Just like locking the door when we go out, although there is an extra step, wearing a helmet is also a necessary step to ensure the safety of life and property. Spending an extra minute can provide a "safety lock" for our travel.

Some people also complain that wearing helmets in summer is stuffy and unbearable, and soon their heads are all sweaty. When they wear them again the next day, the helmet will still smell bad. Indeed, summer weather is hot and wearing a helmet can make it even more stuffy. However, there are many breathable helmets available on the market today, such as those with large ventilation holes that allow air to circulate inside the helmet, effectively reducing the feeling of stuffiness. Moreover, compared to the potential danger to life, the brief stuffiness is completely tolerable, as being hot is always much stronger than being seriously injured.

Some friends, especially beauty conscious women and image conscious men, feel that wearing helmets can disrupt their carefully styled hair and affect their handsome or beautiful image. But what's the use of a perfect hairstyle if you get injured, disfigured, or disfigured in an accident because you're not wearing a helmet? Can we choose a day with messy hair, or do we want to face a lifetime of bad hair? This question is worth pondering deeply.

Some people even have blind confidence, thinking that their driving skills are good, they ride slowly, and accidents will not come knocking on their doors. Wearing a helmet is just unnecessary. But accidents often happen unintentionally. The road conditions are complex and ever-changing, and "road killers" may appear at any time. Can you guarantee that others won't hit you? The idea that accidents have a low probability and will not happen to oneself is just a self deceiving mentality of luck.
