Wear the right helmet and increase safety
Wearing the right helmet is essential for ensuring safety, and every step of correctly wearing a helmet is crucial and cannot be missed.
Firstly, measure the head circumference or try on the helmet to determine the appropriate helmet size. When wearing, the rear adjuster should be turned to the maximum to leave space for subsequent adjustments.
Next, it is crucial to wear the helmet horizontally. Do not tilt forward or backward. Lifting the helmet backward will block the line of sight and cannot protect the safety of the rear position of the head. During cycling, we cannot observe the situation behind us in a timely manner, which can easily lead to danger; However, tilting the helmet forward can result in the helmet being unable to protect the safety of the forehead position, and in the event of a collision, the forehead is susceptible to serious injury.
Then, tighten the adjuster until the helmet does not shake and feels comfortable. This force should be well controlled. If it is too loose, the helmet is prone to displacement when impacted, which cannot effectively protect the head; Being too tight can make people feel uncomfortable and affect the riding experience.
After that, adjust the height of the black fork buckles of the webbing on both sides of the helmet so that the ear position is just between the front and rear webbing. This position ensures the stability of helmet wearing without causing pressure on the ears.
Finally, adjust the length of the chin socket and fasten it tightly, leaving a finger gap in the lower jaw area as a safe and suitable wearing method. Leaving a finger gap ensures both comfort during wear and prevents the helmet from easily falling off in the event of an accident.
